Cantilever Rack
Long, awkward loads stored where you can see them and reach them. Cantilever has no front columns, so lumber, pipe and sheet goods load straight on and off with a forklift or side loader.
Configurations
Cantilever is built from columns, bases, arms and bracing, so each run is sized to the length and weight of what you store.
-
Single-Sided
Arms on one side of the column. Runs along a wall or fence line and keeps the aisle open.
-
Double-Sided
Arms on both sides of a shared column for twice the storage in a center row.
-
Straight or Inclined Arms
Straight arms for bundles and boxed goods. A slight incline and end lips keep round stock like pipe from rolling.
-
Indoor or Outdoor
Painted steel for inside the building, or galvanized for the yard. Outdoor runs can add a roof to keep material dry.
What It Stores
Anything too long, too heavy or too oddly shaped for pallet rack.
- Dimensional lumber, trusses and engineered wood
- Pipe, tube, conduit and bar stock
- Sheet goods: plywood, drywall, metal sheet and panels
- Steel beams, channel and extrusions
- Rolled goods, furniture and long boxed products
What We Need to Quote It
Rough numbers are fine for a first price.
- Length and weight of your longest and heaviest loads
- How many levels you want, and the overall height available
- Length of the run and whether it's single- or double-sided
- Indoor or outdoor, and whether you want a roof
- How the material is loaded: forklift, side loader or by hand
